Phone War Over

My war with the phone company is over I hope this time. I received a phone call from the service I never ordered nor accepted stating my account was cancelled with them last month, but somebody neglected to remove the charges. They are removing them. I guess my last email to them pointing out how a complete stranger ordering things on my phone number is considered fraud on this stranger's part worked. Hopefully my phone bill will be correct next month. I looked up my bill online to see the charges still there. I recieved an email from the phone company afterwards stating these charges will be removed from my bill. That should take care of everything. My score: 3. Phone company:0.
Oh sure I may have gotten a little nasty in my complaining emails and phone calls in this war, but sometimes it is necessary to get nasty to get things done. I am a sales clerk so I know angry customers are quickly helped and often get what they want, even if we bend rules to do it (only with manager approval can you break rules). Though, teed off customers will receive assistance with their complaints provided they don't start cussing or call me a f***ing idiot. In those cases, they are warned the conversation will be over if they continue speaking to me that way. I do have limits to verbal abuse from customers. If I can't help them, I inform them who they can contact and promise to leave a note (sometimes writing it in front of them) for my manager to view the problem. That usually calms down so they will leave. Though a word of advice for those wishing to try my angry strategy to get their way: Don't ever threaten to call my manager to complain about my unhelpfulness or rudeness. I can contact her faster than you can, I have her home phone number and email address that we never give out to customers. And don't think I'm worried about losing my job over making a customer angry with me. I won't be fired for simply following the rules the company writes. Besides that, I make somebody ticked at me nearly every day. I'm used to it. Post later. Bye!
