Hello again. I missed excitement last night. A customer from the the car rental next door tried to enter a car from my company. Of course the key did not work to open the door. Instead of calling her rental company's roadside assistance number for help, she called her own AAA people to tow the car claiming the engine didn't start. Naturally, AAA does not inform the rental company next door of the problem. My coworkers get confronted with the towing company, who we happen to use a lot and get special treatment from, where do we want this car to be taken for repairs? We did not call for any towing.
In the meantime, our customer calls to complain his car is missing from the hotel lot. My coworker drove it back explaining it was towed by mistake. Then the customer could not find the car and demanded a free rental for the incoveinence of searching for in car in the hotel lot. Um, No. I am not sure if anyone helped the lady find the correct car for her keys. Elder people do occassionally call complaining the keys won't work and demand a new car. They get very defensive if you ask if they are trying to open the right car. I wonder how long it took for my coworkers to figure all this out.
My coworker also took a trip into a curb and came in limping covered in mud and scrapes from falling. He showed his battle scars with curb today. Poor coworker. Post later. Bye!
