Interesting. Roommate asked to have a talk after work as I left for work. Asked about what and he said we can discuss it when I come home. Probably about not cleaning the house again. Nope, he wanted to talk about a sock in sink. Sock was not mine. He does have job and works Monday. He is upset over his lack of hours. Exercised at work and forgot my my sneakers. Did exercise ball, stretch bands, and bicycle in my socks. Didn't sweat much, but body is tired. Learn something new everyday. I am doing my taxes and discover my discharge Ch 7 debt that was wiped away is not taxable income after all. Usually cancelled debt is taxable income, but not after Ch 7 bankruptcy apparently. That would be why the creditors never sent me 1099-C forms. And I was worried for months about paying taxes on all the discharged debt. That is a relief. I was considering earning extra money doing food delivery to help pay these taxes. Maybe I will do it anyway since I need to refill my retirement savings...

Had a good day at work. Watched videos most of the day. Emailed a letter to a client to realize I was not set up for that and had to call tech support to fix the problem. Got groceries today. Got roommate his strawberry sherbet and applesauce he asked for yesterday so he won't starve until his dentist appointment. He said he made an appointment today but he's not going. I reminded him yesterday he was screaming at me Emergency cause he was in so much pain and hurt too much to chew. He bit my face off to stop the bs. He's not in pain today and every dentist they called only cared about payment. Yeah, welcome to adulthood where medical professionals expect to get paid and naturally ask what insurance you have when making appointments. Not every doctor or dentist will take Medicaid patients. Happy Lunar New Year. Year of the Wood Snake and Yin symbol. I worked all day. Had fun today with receptionist gone in the morning. Answered phone calls. Prepared forms for mailing. And then worked on letters. Exercised after work. I am so out of shape that my legs gave out on the treadmill after 15 minutes. Worked on arms and stretching on the exercise ball. Then too exhausted to continue. Then went home. My goodness. Roommate has had a sore tooth for days. His wisdom tooth is bothering him. Told him to go to the dentist. He refused cause he can't afford it. Told him he can get cheap dental insurance online. When I was on Medicaid they didn't cover dental for adults. Well go to work and since roommate said he didn't need a ride from work today, I told him last night I would exercise after work. Funny, now that roommate has taken over the living room TV, he has discovered how warm it is upstairs. Yeah, that's why I don't want the thermostat set at 80 derees cause he's cold downstairs. I'm sweating like pig upstairs. Then again I'm wearign a sweatshirt with turtle neck underneath not a t-shirt cause I have winter clothing. unny, Roommate came home job training after me to ask if he could play a video game. Nice. Got a message to order a beaded bracelet. They don't do payment links. Fine, how do they plan to pay? Oh, pay through a online wallet. OK, here's the QR code to my account. They need my email to send payment. Next, got a weird email from a gmail account to "Dear customer" explaining since "thbuyer" put in a business label and my account isn't set up as a business, I have to deposit $500 to upgrade my account to business to receive payment. This person messages back telling me to call the customer service number (that is a 319 area code) cause they also got an email. Checking my online wallet for the payment pending and nothing appears. No, that email is scam and this conversation is over. They want this bracelet, then they pay through the payment link. Wonder if my business email connected to the online wallet will get hacked and end up on the dark web too. My regular email has been hacked twice been on the dark web for years. Well, I think I am completely rid of this cold. Next week I will start exercising after work in their private office gym. They have a nice break room with vending machines and microwave. They even have library you can grab books and put them back at your leisure. I love this office building. There are 8 floors of various professionals from chiropractor and physical therapy to lawyer and temp agency.

Roommate starts his first night at a fast food place today. I was going to drive him, but he was gone when I came home. I didn't see him with all the high school kids walking home.

Today and yesterday our main website was down for maintenance so we cleared the paper folders discarding old paperwork. System should back to normal tomorrow. Then back to calling people to set up appointments. I need to remember to ask if client wants office, phone, or their home for the meeting.

Wow, that was fast. Got in trouble already over a post. Ok, all work people are no longer Friends and can't see my posts anymore. It's also my cousin's birthday. Happy Birthday Mandy.

I had a 3 day weekend and hardly got anything made for my online shop. Panic attacks keep hitting me to practically paralyze me which makes me appear to be napping. Hopefully I can sleep tonight to wake up to get to work on time. Happy Martin Luther King Jr Day. Didn't watch the assclown of a president be sworn into office. I watched DVD movies all day and ignored the news.

Funny, introduced to someone at my brother's church and they asked if I was their daughter. Showed them my Valentine merchandise I made. I have to try to entice people. I wonder if anyone at work will buy anything. Well, that was fun and cold. Had to stop at the gas station for gas and refill air in a tire. I couldn't stop shaking even after I made a cup of cocoa. Now wrapped up in a blanket reading emails. Cocoa warmed me up. Working on product sale sheet template, order form, and bar codes for my shop. Discovered I can create my own bar codes by downloading a bar code font into Excel. Awesome. Now to save money to send sample packages to local tourist spot gift shops. I hope at least one gift shop manager would like to sell my merchandise in their shop. People say how cute my beaded items are. Once get everything made I need to take new photos for my product sale sheet.

Wow, I just got a lecture on income tax being illegal for government to take from paychecks because some YouTube video of lady stating we don't have to pay income tax or send in tax forms cause income tax is illegal. Forced to look which amendment for income tax on my computer. It's the 16th Amendment from 1913. Oh but it's doesn't say they have the right to take tax from his paychecks. Apparently they do or it wouldn't be done by every employer in the country. Explained IRS just cares if you owe, if he doesn't want his refund then don't fill out the tax forms. The tax documents he gets from the employer, the IRS also receives. They do a mock return to see if you owe money. What they don't know is various deductions that would effect the outcome which is why we file tax returns. Come home and roommate announces he got the job to start soon. He has to go in for the onboarding paperwork. Announced the polar vortex this weekend so I will drive him on my 3 days weekend so he doens't freeze to death walking to work. He works nights I can drive him to work. If he gets off after I go to bed then he will walk home or get a ride with a coworker. He is so happy to be working again. OMG, I actually get to know what a 3 day weekend feels like and I know what to do...Work on my business. Strange how the inauguration is on MLK Day. I wonder if that is omen.

OMG, I am going to cry. I suddenly received a partial refund from that pest control company who took my last paycheck. Thanks Attorney General’s office. I sent them an email to thank them. They replied the company canceled my service and would issue a partial refund. I am so happy. Well I got a lengthy message from roommate about not helping clean the house. My house is filthy and I don't take care of things. Shame of me. My anxiety and depression are my own fault cause I don't clean. I sent back a lengthy message how tired I am supporting him and girlfriend. If I am such a terrible roommate, why doens't he find a new place to live. Roommate replied to my message with an 😡. Wow, arrived at the office and nobody is here. Text messaged if the office was closed today. No, other secretary is out sick with a sore throat. Advisors mostly work from home and come in for meetings with clients. Had fun trying to figure out why ear buds didn't work again. Computer was on mute. Then buds kept falling out during a call so had to figure how to keep them in my ears. Sigh.

Wonderful. My dispute with the company who took my last paycheck was denied. Nice. At least my new job won't have problem with paycheck deposits going to the wrong account. Today at work we got the phone set up. Voicemail message recorded, new ear buds (wireless), and added contacts to transfer calls. I am put in to ring 2nd when clients call in. Secretary gets rang 1st. Never dealt with a phone going through the computer so this is an adventure. PS. I filed a complaint with the attorney general's office. I doubt they will do anything to get my money back, but other people on Google Reviews where I left a 1 star review had the same story I did so maybe they will investigate.

Well, I went and did it. I applied to do the local Farmer's Market this summer. X fingers I get accepted. Plan to sell the beaded items instead of candles. Haven't sold a single candle or wax melt for over a year. Last farmer's market and craft holiday sale I hardly sold any candles or wax melts. Many said, Soy Wax, Ew, Yuck. I guess too many people want the prestigious name brand kind. Yeah, those name brand candles use paraffin wax that is from petroleum so that's why they cost so much. Natural beeswax and soy wax are cheaper and better for the environment. But who cares about that. Finally getting over my cold. I did a some exercises today. Today I am so tired. But have to finish putting away the Christmas decorations so I can start organizing my bead stuff. Received a Friend Request from top management. Funny, I keep getting rejection emails. One I actually replied "Thank you for you email. I have already started working another job". Discovered the current secreatry has been here 15 years. I hope I cna be here 15 years, that will take me to retirement age. I would love to open a gift shop or bakery, but no money so I can't. Online store is not doing so great. I even thought of closing it permanently, but then got hired so I can make enough income to keep it going. I want to sell things to local gifts shops, but can't afford the postage to send samples. I emailed a group of gift shops to receive no reply. I know, I am annoying SPAM. Keep gettign insurance cards from my old hotel job. Don't work there anymore. Nice. Learning more about my responsibilities and one is making stock trades. Yes, I will be taught to complete stock trades when clients request money from their accounts under the direction of the financial advisor so I don't need a securities license. Other things I do are printing reports, scanning documents, get the mail, and prepare advisor for appointments. Whenever someone sends a check to us, I will learn the scanning machine cause SEC says checks mailed to advisors must be sent to the corporate office by the next day. Actually took a learnign module on gettign the mail. Only designated people can retrieve the mail and must be logged in.

Remembered my lunch this time. Yum. Learning to create letters for clients after the advisors have annual meetings with them. The letters are a follow up of what they discussed and what to bring to their next visit. Weird, every time I go to work I keep having visions of balloons in the waiting room. All my coworkers are happy and screaming. Maybe someone is having a birthday soon or retiring. The problem with visions is not knowing what they mean.

Lots of learning today watching videos. Apparently the advisors are forbidden from recommending a 401k be transferred to a Rollover IRA when clients change jobs. The clients must say on their own they want to do that before the advisor can initiate any advice on Rollover IRAs. Ugh. I forgot my lunch in the fridge at home. Someone offered Raman packs expired in 2021. I am drinking tea and eating a few Hershey kisses to keep the stomach from growling. I will eat when I get home. I used the last of my cash getting TP yesterday so no money for the vending machines. This will teach me not to forget my lunch. After work I went to the bank for cash to buy more orange juice so I have cash now. Funny, I received a health insurance card from my old job. Went into the trash.

Ugh, I got a cold. And I was going to start taking down decorations this weekend. All I want to do is sleep. Drinking orange juice and recovering. Today much congestion is so gone so I can breathe out of my nose again. Started putting the decorations away.

Had a good 2nd day at work on the computer learning modules. Mostly lessons on fraud, scams, phishing, and ethics. Apparently my time will be split between the financial advisors. There is no phone, all phone calls go through the computer. Learning to do prep for meetings (1 advisor does paper and the other 2 are electronic) and schedule appointments.

Grabbed the new 2025 calendar and started writing down people's birthdays. Then started to cry complete with silent scream. I woke up happy and relaxed instead of tired and stressed. Tomorrow I start my new job and full of hope for an amazing year. My horoscopes says I will come into money this year, even Chinese horoscope says that. Hope that comes true. I guess it hit me in a weird way. My body is healing from my emotional roller coaster ride. My cry was my body releasing stress. Last night was fun. Stopped at the hotel bar for a rum punch and ate a pizza (I love their pizza). The couple next to me gave the manager a hard time about not recommending the pizza when they asked about food. He recommended their chicken wings as his favorite so they ordered wings. Oh well, they are ones missing good pizza. Got a message where my hotel bartender friend was located and walked there.
