The Adventures of Being Me

It took 3 hours but I figured out how to transfer my pics from Windows to Kodak program. It is a round about way and hope I can recall it when my nieces graduate in May. I had to double click a lot of things to get there. My cats look so cute when they sleep. Despite their independent nature, they hate separating from me. Nothing else to report.

I hate my computer already and got it last week. It will soon be broken with my fist pounding on it like the last one I'm sure. I am ready to toss this piece of garbage out the window. It would help if it would just work. My new computer is incompatible with my printer and camera, then doesn't have a disk drive so had to buy one to plug in. Everything has to be troubleshooted and troubleshooted some more. I finally got enough programs installed to make the lightening speed hard drive slow down to molasses, even hitting the mouse twice or three times cuz ths thing is so goddamn slow. And I need all these troubleshooting program to make this piece of crap work at all. Even better, I downloaded my camera pics into my computer, but not my camera program cuz of incompatible software. Which means I can not print pics or email to have them printed or email an album to my friends, I can only load them onto webpages and attach to email making them too huge to send to my friends. Happy Valentine's Day everybody.

Checked the customer service notes on a guy I called security on 2 days ago (yes I can do that). He complained 2 customer service people hung up on him (gee I wonder why) so he is writing an email on the events surrounding his flat tire troubles, a 4 paragraph email. The responder to the email obviously neglected to read his prior notes made by employees cause she refunded the flat tire, although there was one refund done so the customer is making a profit on his flat tire. Then she sent him 3 free day coupons for his disgust at our location for not being able to pull cars he wants out of our ass cause he has been a club member for 18 months. Well he learned his lesson, treat employees like dirt, complain about it, and he will be rewarded for it. That is how the cookie crumbles, and companies can't figure out why their employees keep quitting. It takes a strong and a little crazy person to work my job and not erode their self-esteem to dust.

Today I had to wait an hour for cable tv. I had a black screen and sound and remote didn't work. Then picture came up finally and remote worked. Then find out on facebook my sister's cat is dead. I just petted her last week. I bet niece is taking it hard. They think she licked a bottle of cleaner and poisoned into kidney failure. RIP Scout: 11 and half years old. Then we are still overbooked for the 3rd day in a row. Had to tell a guy with broken headlight I had nothing to give him. Next we had a guy show up wanting another car from a flat tire. He didn't like our single car choice, refused to go to another, demanded the owner's cell number, and I ended up calling security. My coworker was helping him, but he got on my last nerve. The cops encouraged him to decide whether to take a car he didn't like or go to another counter and we will return his. They are so good encouraging resolution. Happy Groundhog Day Everybody.

I'm in hell this week from severe overbooking. Apparently one company has a conference and every employee must have their own car instead of a carpooling. It puts a strain on me sending out cars needing oil changes and have bad tires. I wish people would stop crashing our cars, it would help a little, 15 shop cars from accidents the past month. Plus customers keep showing up 2-4 hours late so I don't know who is coming or not as closing tiem approaches. Then I have to wait for a delayed flight that went past closing time so I have no one to send my customers if I physically completely run out of cars. So I give away my last car and run out the door. I have nothing to exchange and don't want to hear the complaints. But a lady wants to debate whether or not her friend living 3 hours away went to the wrong airport, she doesn't understand why she is not picking her up.
