Fruit and a ballet

I went to the grocery store and came home to watch a ballet with a bowl
of watermelon. I had no idea what is was about, but enjoyed watching the
delicate movements. Later, I realized it was Swan Lake.

It is a shame Congress desires to destroy Public TV by withdrawing funds
because it doesn't carry ultra-conservative values and don't support the
war on terror, or something like that. I would like to know where else
one can find New York ballets, Des Moines Metro operas, Boston Pops
symphonies with 4th of July fireworks, and children's programs that are
sex-free, cuss-free, and adult themed-free. Public TV is the only
commercial-free viewing available in the country. I guess congress has
decided the public is no longer entitled to have programs determined by
the public instead of profit-driven companies.

That's OK, I'm getting use to rights, comforts, privaledges, and
anything taken for granted removed from my life. I only ask what will be
taken away next, my right to breathe fresh air outside from relaxing
environmental regulations? Post later. Bye!

Looking for the Cat

Both dogs and Goldie came inside from the yard. Saw Rosie come inside, but I was unsure if she went back out into the yard or still inside. Searched all over and finally found her in the tree outside. Waited and eventually she came to the door squeaking like a mouse. All babies inside now.

New phone

As if I was not spending enough money, I have to buy I new cell phone. I unfortunently got the fabulous Sidekick phone because at the time of purchase I did not have internet access. It cost a lot of money, sure good things do, but I expected it to last a whie at that price. Of course, I lost the 1st phone last year and had to buy a new one which cost more than what I originally paid for it (I never did find it). So, a year goes by to have the battery go kaput and can't hold any level of power leaving me to recharge it constantly. Also, this battery is sealed in the phone so I can not just go out of buy a new one. At the end of my rope, I complain in an email from my computer. Since the warranty expired, I have to buy a new one. Well, I told the operator, if I have to buy a new phone every year then I want the cheapest one you got. He agreed with my logic. Then, changing phones causes me to lose the unlimited Sidekick internet access. Losing the internet access also caused the eras...
