Water Damage Spreading

I'm so tired of being strong all the time. I'm literally so stressed out waiting for this rain to stop so roofers can fix the flashing that I can barely function. Water damage is spreading on my walls dripping water over more places in the basement, finding places to put more buckets on the floor is getting difficult. Half my basement floor is soaking wet, with towels directing the water to the floor drain. Plus, mold is exploding everywhere, so I had to get a dehumidifier. I can tell when my roommate cleans with bleach. Got a message that the roofer will come by for a shingle piece to match and to get supplies to work on the roof this week. It's raining until Friday. Sigh. Heaven help me.

I'm tired of people telling me to get homeowner's insurance to pay for my water damage. OK, first off, homeowners does not pay for water damage without a storm event and they don't pay for a flood in the basement when a floor drain is clogged and I have a crappy waterproofing system that directs water into that drain. They are not going to pay for a lousy job the roofers who replaced my shingles and flashing did years ago. It was suggested to contact the roofers who changed the shingles, maybe they guarnetee their work. After the trouble I had getting them to replace the gutter guards they broke and they skipped the back gutter, I don't want them to come back.

Looking for the Cat

Both dogs and Goldie came inside from the yard. Saw Rosie come inside, but I was unsure if she went back out into the yard or still inside. Searched all over and finally found her in the tree outside. Waited and eventually she came to the door squeaking like a mouse. All babies inside now.

New phone

As if I was not spending enough money, I have to buy I new cell phone. I unfortunently got the fabulous Sidekick phone because at the time of purchase I did not have internet access. It cost a lot of money, sure good things do, but I expected it to last a whie at that price. Of course, I lost the 1st phone last year and had to buy a new one which cost more than what I originally paid for it (I never did find it). So, a year goes by to have the battery go kaput and can't hold any level of power leaving me to recharge it constantly. Also, this battery is sealed in the phone so I can not just go out of buy a new one. At the end of my rope, I complain in an email from my computer. Since the warranty expired, I have to buy a new one. Well, I told the operator, if I have to buy a new phone every year then I want the cheapest one you got. He agreed with my logic.
