Water Dripping in the Kitchen

Aaaaaaaaaahhhhhhh!!!!! Now my roof is leaking in the kitchen. I am using every bucket and waste basket to catch the water. STOP RAINING!

Some relief today. The roofer dropped off the supplies today. Now, to wait for the rain to stop so the roofer can fix the flashing. Roommate thought it was a bad idea leaving the shingles and flashing outside. That is what roofers do. They leave shingles and flashing in the yard the day before they work on it.

News is announcing flood warnings of the nearby river. Great I have to go to a Pilates session with a fellow classmate and Physical Therapy tomorrow. If the river floods, if will be very difficult to go to that side of town. Praying the bridges stay okay.

Great, wonderful, my microwave is dead. And my spare microwave went dead months ago. And the Raccoon River is expected to flood tomorrow, when I need to get to West Des Moines for appointments. I swear I'm cursed.

Looking for the Cat

Both dogs and Goldie came inside from the yard. Saw Rosie come inside, but I was unsure if she went back out into the yard or still inside. Searched all over and finally found her in the tree outside. Waited and eventually she came to the door squeaking like a mouse. All babies inside now.

New phone

As if I was not spending enough money, I have to buy I new cell phone. I unfortunently got the fabulous Sidekick phone because at the time of purchase I did not have internet access. It cost a lot of money, sure good things do, but I expected it to last a whie at that price. Of course, I lost the 1st phone last year and had to buy a new one which cost more than what I originally paid for it (I never did find it). So, a year goes by to have the battery go kaput and can't hold any level of power leaving me to recharge it constantly. Also, this battery is sealed in the phone so I can not just go out of buy a new one. At the end of my rope, I complain in an email from my computer. Since the warranty expired, I have to buy a new one. Well, I told the operator, if I have to buy a new phone every year then I want the cheapest one you got. He agreed with my logic. Then, changing phones causes me to lose the unlimited Sidekick internet access. Losing the internet access also caused the eras...
