Trying so hard

I have been trying so hard to earn extra money since I spent a mint trying to get my book published on my own. I tried saving money, but 2 cats prevent that from happening.

Looking through the want ads of a paper looking for at home jobs, I found out companies pay people to take surveys. I never heard of that before. So I go online and sign up, for a fee of course to access all these companies' paid surveys.

I click on company survey access #1: I am directed to another paid survey site where I can access companies' surveys for free. why did I pay a fee to access this site?

Access click #2: I am directed not to a paid survey site, but to a web page of articles of paid surveys. One article said 99% of paid survey sites are scams. Like we are suppose to know where to find the 1% that are real.

Access clcik #3: I am directed to a website claiming if you accessed this site for a fee then it is a scam. They no longer do mystery shopping or paid surveys anymore.

Go through hoops in the free paid survey search site to find other sites who do paid surveys and off lots of free. Yes you do get paid to do a survey, but you also have to purchase a membership that costs more than what one gets for the survey to get paid for the survey. if you do not cancel your free trial memberships, you are billed each month until you do.

Did I just waste a fee to be paid for nothing? I guess Mom is right, I am the stupidest person on earth. I fall for scams so easily when I badly need money. I would like to know if the news media is more concerned over celebrity babies and contiuous bombs going off in the Middle East to protect poor people from scams? Need I mention car title loans who charge outrageous interest because such practice is yet legal to do, but unwise if you are poor and badly need money.

I did find a mystery shopping site I signed up for (through the fee site), but at the present I don't have time to do any mystery shopping. My sister just signed up to volunteer at the Democratic Party place and needs a babysitter every week. Isn't that so nice of her? Post later. Bye!
