Joined the unemployment line

I went in early today with my social security card and driver's license to wait for my turn to be offered a job with the corporate takeover. Everyone before me was offered a job. One quit cuz it was a step backwards, worse case he can work for his dad. One is iffy so he'll probably quit first chance he gets. The bossman came by with our paychecks this week. In 2 weeks we get paid for yesterday and today with unused vacation/sick time. So I went in and was offered nothing. They want to go in another direction for closing whatever that means (I close cuz nobody else will). I cried in front of my coworkers and boss, 3 gave me a hug. I am in middle of applying for graduate school. I thought I better before the boss leaves to get a letter of recommendation. I can work tonight cuz bossman will pay me for tonight. I need the money. At least I can say good-bye to everybody.
