I know there is a full moon

Having a uneventful week. Wednesday got my oil changed and saw my parents' slashed in half nut trees. In high school, Dad had the brainiac idea to grow his own nuts so he didn't have to buy them at the store. What he didn't know was that nut trees he got took 30 years to grow before producing any nuts. We are half way there to grow nuts and 2 of them had their trunks slashed in half by the storm that came through. Half of one tree is still up and Mom showed me a picture of the part that was hauled away, the another tree completely fell over in several directions knocking out their power line to the house. They had no electricity for a day and a half until the power line was fixed. Dad is in the process of chopping it up and carrying it away.

Come to work to find my manager is out for a while cause she is sick and screwed up my coworker's vacation plans. He wasn't going anywhere so he is taking the next week off instead. Dealt with the stupidest customers on earth all week, like the kind who I repeatedly tell I have no service agents to send to their rescue and they keep asking to send one of my people over to them so they don't have to pay for a tow truck, or like the kind who can't figure out how to lock a door without the remote making me ask what these people did before remotes were invented. Sorry remote batteries die eventually. Then a guy comes in wanting to exchange cars cause he hit a curb and now the car shakes. Asked if he was in an accident and he said no. Got him another car and looked up any notes roadside service made. He told them he was sideswiped and crashed into a curb hard enough to cause the hubcap to be dented and making the car shake. With the conflicting stories before me, I went out to check out the car (my car washers had clocked out). I saw no indication of being sideswiped that I assumed that would consist of a very large scrape and dent, just the hubcap that appeared to be ready to pop out. Wrote a note and put it in the owner's drawer. Found later putting stuff away that the car's repair bill consisted of replacing the hubcap, replacing the tire, realigning the tires, etc. at a cost of $400. Hope he has insurance.

Yesterday and today Precious went for a walk on the leash while Frodo stayed inside. Precious has to rub against my pants after he has rolled in the dirt and grass. When I start brushing off the dirt and hair, he runs up and rubs against pants again. Guess he wants his black hair on my tan pants. We ran into a few dogs and Precious hid behind me. I notice that unlike most dogs, Precious will step over the leash when it gets in between his legs. Dogs just keep walking. Nothing else to report.
