I hate Saturdays

Ok I don't really hate Saturdays, just when it is busy and have to deal with Nightmare Customers from Hell with customers standing behind them. On top of that I have to give away SUVs at the compact price cause that's all have, which makes people mad cause of the gas. Actually compact cars and SUV's have the same mileage per gallon.

Nightmare #1. This bitch pulls same stunt every week for the past 3 weeks. Rents her car for 2 days, extend rental another day, and then another day, and then returns car 2 days past due cause she knows on the 3rd day the manager will be calling to ask for our car back. So there are 4 charges listed on her receipt which makes her explode into she is being overcharged. The website she reserved her car on did not tell her this is the price. Hello, the reserved price is for 2 days, not a week, therefore more days are on her bill than on her reservation. Then she freaks out about having enough money on her credit card, cause she only pays enough to keep what we need to authorize available. Even better, since it changes prices she doesn't get the difference in price before and after taxes when quoting what her total should be. And the ever common, that's not what your manager said. Well then, you are free to call tomorrow when she is here. She can never get ahold of her. Sorry, she works morning Monday through Friday. Then when she calms down about the receipt, she whines that she has to hand over her driver's license and credit card cause know her and have her in the system, why can't we just look it up and also what are we charging her this time. Sorry, I don't have her driver's license number nor credit card number memorized so she has to hand them over. I don't bother to inform her that the price all together is cheaper if she rented off the airport grounds, we have a fee that gets taxed for the extra security for the cars.

Nightmare #2. Lady rents a van, returns declaring this van is digustingly dirty and demands another car, and I give her another one. Returns again stating this van is also digustingly dirty and wants her original van cause the new van doesn't have the DVD player and the first one has one but the screen won't fold up. Returns again while I'm dealing with Nightmare #1 and they both whine how we don't clean our cars properly. Sorry. This time her son refuses to sit in their van and wants the one is K8. Fine, K8 it is, and exchange cars for a third time. Now she demands compensation for returning so many times. I offer 10%. She demands 20% cause is really annoying to come back here, then negotiates to 15%. I am only authorized to give 10% discounts ($20 maximum). She accepts. Problem, her rental has been prepaid through Priceline so I can't discount what we didn't get paid for. Said I will leave a note for the manager to see what she can do and if she wishes to speak to the manager she can call tomorrow. Customer doesn't want to return here again. She can call. She doesn't want to call either. She wants me to take care of it and makes me write on her contract stating I would contact my manager on this. I held the disgusting cars back with a note for manger tomorrow to judge if these cars are really dirty or the customer was just mad it had no DVD player. 99% of the time there is nothing wrong with our cars. 1% there is a coffee stain on the back seat that won't come out.

Even better I got to rent out dirty cars (not been cleaned and serviced by the car washers) in the event a compact reservation refuses to drive a huge SUV, usually women. I went out to inspect for cleansliness, remove garbage, and write down the stall number. 2 actually were well cleaned on the inside, just mudly outside. I took 10% for the 2 women who took the dirty cars.

Funny story to finish this post. Took cats out on leashes and Precious became curious of a puupy being walked by the new neighbor. The puppy started hiding behind the gal's legs and finally went in. She said it was 5 months old and never seen a cat before. The puupy size is about Preicous's head and shoulders. Then Frodo got freaked by the moving in neighbors walking by him so he sprinted to us dragging his leash behind him. I ran over and picked up the leash. They bolted toward the wooded area but I held them back Anyway, good night. Post later. Bye!
