Volunteering

Today on my way to my volunteer position at a museum I got off the wrong exit and took 5 minutes to realize this. The activity they had for me was help weave cattail mats for the floor. The leaves were sometimes less flexible than I would have liked. Next I often got lost in the strands and sometimes skipped one or two causing me to unravel to fix it. My cold last week and the heat of the day must have fried my brain. When needing a break in concentration, I helped scrape the buffalo hide. It takes them 5-6 days to prepare a hide for tanning. When we got the last visitor we packed up and went home. My kitty was glad to see me. Post later. Bye!
