Precious came today. ertz Mfriend had her under her jacket when she knocked on the door. She liked my doorknob hanger that has a gray tabby aying Attack Cat On Duty. She said her younger son wanted this kitten to go to me because he loved her. I had to ask f he meant the kitty or me. She said both. Precious is hard to describe. She is blackish and grayish with a hortizontal black stripe on her side, a tabby head Then her underside is plain tan, she has a plain black long hair (lots of brushing), yellowish eyes, and soft as brand new socks. She shook when my friend gave her to me so I let her explore the apartment. She tended to follow me when I changed rooms and sniffed every corner including the laundry basket and behind the couch. After an hour of meowing and scratching and sniffing, she jumped up on the couch and stepped across my lap. Then she snuggled against my leg and took a nap, she finally let me pet her. I scratched her cheeks and chin, she turned over onto her back to fall asleep (cats show you their belly when they trust you). She was so cute sleeping with her paws in the air. She would twitch paws as cats do when sleeping and wake up to go back to slepp. An airplane woke her up and made her meow. I petted her back to sleep and rubbed her belly. Then I had to get ready for work. I slipped off the couch trying not to disturb her nap. Soon after, she woke up and meowed some more. I found her behind the couch shaking and crouched down. Then she came out and followed me around. When I left she went towards the door, but backed away as I approached. She was sniffing the presents in the closet when I left. She came running for the door and meowed nonstop after I shut it. I could hear her all the way downstairs and out in the parking lot (I left the balcony door open). I wanted to call in sick, but it was too late for that, I had to show up at work. Hopefully the neighbors aren't too disturbed by her meowing. Poor petrified, frightened kitty. Post
later. Bye!.
