Bathroom Flood

What a morning. Wake up, get breakfast ready, and hear water dripping. Check the toilet I just flushed, and there is water all over the bathroom floor. Unclog the toilet with the plunger. I figure I will just eat breakfast and clean it up later. My roommate came upstairs asking about my scream when I saw the flooded bathroom and the water from the ceiling was dripping into the basement on top of the humidifier. Now he says I have to get a new humidifier because it is soaked with water. Can't we just wipe it off? No, water is getting into the opening that sucks in the air to cool it into condensation in the bucket. Sigh. I'm eating my breakfast first before dealing with the basement water and humidifier. I wiped up the bathroom water, so that should stop dripping into the basement.

Looking for the Cat

Both dogs and Goldie came inside from the yard. Saw Rosie come inside, but I was unsure if she went back out into the yard or still inside. Searched all over and finally found her in the tree outside. Waited and eventually she came to the door squeaking like a mouse. All babies inside now.

New phone

As if I was not spending enough money, I have to buy I new cell phone. I unfortunently got the fabulous Sidekick phone because at the time of purchase I did not have internet access. It cost a lot of money, sure good things do, but I expected it to last a whie at that price. Of course, I lost the 1st phone last year and had to buy a new one which cost more than what I originally paid for it (I never did find it). So, a year goes by to have the battery go kaput and can't hold any level of power leaving me to recharge it constantly. Also, this battery is sealed in the phone so I can not just go out of buy a new one. At the end of my rope, I complain in an email from my computer. Since the warranty expired, I have to buy a new one. Well, I told the operator, if I have to buy a new phone every year then I want the cheapest one you got. He agreed with my logic.
