RIP Alex Duong

RIP Alex Duong. We met in 2009 while I was taking a makeup artistry class with Amy Ward Studio with hopes of being a makeup artist. He was a model I did his makeup for a couple of times and kept in touch after I returned home. I told him I saw potential in him by the way he posed. He had hopes of being an actor. I told him to tell his agent to get him parts because I wanted to see him again. He was the one who encouraged me to join social media. I long ago threw away the photographs from the week-long class because nobody gave me a chance to do their makeup. Not even one person. He became a stand-up comedian, actor, and screenwriter. I watched his performances on YouTube, even a commercial for Best Buy, where he had no lines. After watching him in a video with his friends, I said I was so impressed that if he went through his whole life without winning an award, I would be severely disappointed. I saw on Facebook that he got married and had a daughter. He continued working and writing. He did get an award for his stand up comedy. I told him that it meant that I was right about him. Then he got cancer. I told him I would write him a story and asked what his character should be. He said he wanted to be a cook who was a secret agent. I came up with a storyline, and he replied, "Wow". I was so stressed out over my finances, stressed over my job, and then losing my job, and then trying to get old stories edited for eBook publishing, that I haven't even started his story yet. And now he is gone forever, and I don't have the photo of when we met anymore. This article will have to do. Goodbye Alex. I was hoping you would get the right role to be an Oscar winner, or even an Emmy winner, acting or screenplay, but it wasn't meant to be. I'm sorry I never started your story for you to enjoy a rough draft of it. Here is his phot I pulled off his webpage in 2010 resembling the studio photos I did his make up when we met. He got on E News...https://www.eonline.com/news/1430310/alex-duong-blue-bloods-actor-dead-at-42-after-cancer-battle
