Harry Houdini: Invented the escape artist act and put down the popular Spiritualist movement of connecting to spirits with séances when he revealed many famous psychics as frauds.

Johannes Gutenberg: Inventor of the Printing Press by watching olive pressers squeezing out juice.

George Washington Carver: Agricultural College Professor who encouraged cotton farmers to plant peanuts to replenish the nutrients in the soil that cotton drained called "crop rotation".

Clara Barton: Founder of the American Red Cross that aids in every natural disaster from tornadoes to earthquakes.

George Washington: General Washington led the Americans to defeat the British in the Revolutionary War. As such, many in the military wanted to overthrow the new government under the Articles of Confederation and have General Washington crown himself King or Emperor of America. He destroyed the military coup in one speech and America got a President who left office after 2 terms.

Edward R Murrow: Journalist with a TV show who brought down the McCarthy Red Scare in one broadcast after he was accused of being a communist.

Mark Felt: Deputy Director of the FBI who contacted 2 journalists Carl Bernstein and Bob Woodward about the Watergate Break In and resulted in President Nixon resigning.

Louis Pasteur: Father of Microbiology and the reason we heat milk to kill bacteria.

Arthur Conan Doyle: Author of Sherlock Holmes crime stories that used science and psychology to solve crimes that altered the way police detectives solved real-life crimes.

Rosa Parks: A secretary who refused to give up her seat to a white bus passenger that led to a boycott of buses, which led to the Civil Rights Movement to end segregation and race discrimination.

Sitting Bull: A Lakota holy man who led his Native American tribe in resistance to American government (including Custer's Last Stand), even taking his people to live in Canada for a while. He later joined a tour of the Wild West Show to see the Eastern America and Canada.
