A small town girl living in the city full of crazy people. But then, who is normal anyway. I love books, skateboarding, ballet, loud music, hanging out with my nieces and nephew, shopping, and cats Bilbo and Misty. (ferrets Faramir-RIP, Eowyn-RIP, Arwyn-MIA, Luthien-RIP, Beren-MIA, Boromir-RIP/cats Precious-RIP and Frodo-RIP).

Walk w/cat
Had a walk with my cat Precious. We found a fake turf pad nailed/screwed to a neighbor's balcony with several pieces of poop on the wooden balcony. I be the the neighbors living next to it complain to the apartment manager about the smell.

Out of town funeral
Spent 3 days with my widowed Aunt and relieved to be back home. Aunt was constantly receiving phone calls and fretting what my sister's plans were. Her stepdaughter and sister-in-law came by to select pics for the funeral displays the day before we came. We asked if stepdaughter was aware she is not inheriting a pile of money. Aunt dearly hopes so, she barely gets by as it is. We found the casket wreath had labels of Beloved husband, Father, and Granddaughter. I had look twice disbelieving it said Granddaughter instead of Grandfather. It said Granddaughter. Mom and I went to the 1st viewing and proofread the memorial paper. Had a few mistakes and misspelled names. All corrected we left. Aunt thought nobody would come to the visitation or funeral. We had about 100 people sign their name to the book. Half his side and half hers. Her side wasn't as fond of uncle as his side, but we show support for Aunt. He had friends and neighbors stop by and send flowers. He was estranged from his daughter many years, but once he went into the nursing home 2 years ago, she came around to see him. Got a couple of flower vases with roses. Let Mom have the lily vase. Stepdaughter took a bunch of flowers and Aunt took the rest. Aunt was so worried what she would do with all the flowers being delivered, she didn't expect so many. We said to share them. Cats were hungry when I came home as usual and got filled up fast. Now have to load pics I took for Aunt.

Chauffeur duty
It's official: I'm chauffeur for mom to aunt's house. We are leaving early to give support for grieving aunt who is hours from family and has no children. Sister laid a guilt trip on Mom who just wanted to attend the funeral events and split. Sister pointed out how we children stayed with Mom for a week after Dad died and both sides of the family came by to visit, Imagine if she didn't have that and sat in her house alone with only a phone to talk to people. Mom then agreed to offered more support for her sister. Who knows if uncle's side of the family is supportive or ignoring her and I bet her stepdaughter only wants to know how much money he left her. My sister agreed to watch my cats for me.

Loss in family
Heard my uncle died this morning. I get to be chauffeur for Mom unless someone else takes the job. He has been in a nursing home for over a year so not unexpected. Won't wear black cuz we weren't that close. At least I can stop pretending I care when aunt updates us about his progress. Naturally I will be supportive of my aunt cuz I do care about her.

Computer hijacked
Had my computer hijacked w/ a Windows Alert telling me I'm infected w/40 Trojans and need to download a new program to remove them. Huh? Since when do we need to install new programs to remove viruses. Then it won't let me exit out. SO, unplugged everything and scanned whole computer w/ already installed security software. After 3 hours, no infection were found.

Josite matches
I am hating the job matches my jobsite are sending me. Let's see, the one today is pretty much a fancy title for telemarketer and wants someone with a marketing or advertising degree. I have neither degree and no experience being agressive telemarketer. How does this match my skills, abilities, and interests? I worked at a car rental. And BTW, in these job ads I read, I like to know what company I am applying to and what job I am applying for. Anotherwise I ask, What are they hiding?
Awful day
I go to the gym and my exercise buddy never shows up. Guess she forgot. Next on the way out my desk clerk notices there is no expiration date for my guess pass so he added one on. OK. Now he has to discuss memberships. I have no job, I have no money, I will not buy any memberhsips, not even a cheap one. Ok, now he wants me to come in on my last day of the guess pass and discuss my membership options. Guess I won't be exercising on my last day.
Go shopping even though I have no money to buy containers and shelves for all the childhood items I had to grab out of my Moms house before she sells. Plus I had to buy a printer I can't afford. Mine broke down in the middle of printing so every time I turn on my computer the printer turns on trying to print the pages it won't grab. Then every 5 minutes after I turn the printer off, it flips on again w/out me hitting the power button. Then the shelves I got to display my figurines keep falling off the wall and get damaged. Great thing to look every time I walk by them.
Then on top of my frustration. On the news, there are people switching census packets for fake forms asking for SS#s and other personal info to steal identities. I already sent mine in but can't recall what it looked like or if it asked for SS#s. So I go into my internet browser to get my free credit report to see if anyone has stolen my identity. I get roped into giving a dollar for my credit score (is this new?, I thought these reports were free?). Next I am informed I just registered for a 9 day trial of a credit watchdog monitoring system and then after my cc# I just gave for my credit score will be charged every month. Oops, I think my internet browser sucked me into a non-free credit report. So look up how to disable my membership. I can't do it online, I have to call a 800 number to do that. Any bets that these people won't let me disable my memberhsip like the cable company I will be calling tomorrow to disable my cable that went up $30. I can't afford all this, but sales people are trained to not take no for an answer (Not even from people who lost jobs and are paying 60% of their unemployment on rent). Now we shall see if I can pry a coverter box from my Mom. She says she found some Dad bought but would never give any to me. I can't find them in stores.
What else will be going wrong this week? The microwave, the TV, the car, home burn down and cats killed. What next? And the only people offering interviews through emails through jobsites are telemarketers, insurance companies, collection agencies, and people I suspect are scam artists. Seriously, who would offer a bank money transfer job to someone who has no banking or money prosessing experience?
Better go to bed now.
