PS. on Vet Visit

I got the final big mat out when Precious laid beside me on the couch and I grabbed the scissors to snip it off. It was huge. I have been pulling on littler ones more tolerable to Precious. Though after the third pull he runs away. I am working on removing the mats off his tummy.

Went to sister's house for laundry and it was hot and humid. I tied my hair in a bun and turned on the AC for the cats napping all afternoon. They looked up as I walked by them, but that was it for movement. After I arrived, thunder and lightening came and the rain poured down. I waited til it lightened up to go outside. Half way home it pours again and I hug the center line to keep from the puddles on the edge slowing my driving down. I barely can see or drive up hills with water rushing down. Then I hear clunking like rocks are being thrown at my car. Hail. Then wait in the car for the rain to lightened up again and rush in to wade through the parking lot, I'm wearing sandals. Opened the door for Precious and he ran away from the rain blowed in.

Had to argue with sister over the scratches, punctures, and bite marks on my hand from pulling out mats. I had justify, again, why I don't declaw my cats. Excuse me, but this woman told me not to declaw them when I first got them because she did and now she is terrified to let her cats outside, especially when they escape out the door. Why can't she say, Congratulations you have a cat (or animal) and move on with it? Yes my Precious bites and scratches when I pull on his fur. He is a cat.

She also thinks I should never take them outside cause she doesn't anymore. God forbid I change residences or cats change owners and the cats escape out the door. I want them to be able to find their way home, recognize danger, hide or escape from danger, fear moving cars, climb a tree, and climb down a tree. Am I being unreasonable here? Cats live 15 years and I'm a bad fortune teller. When I first got the cats, the apartment didn't allow doags and now they do so the cats got chased up trees when dogs charged at them. Anything can happen.

Now Frodo wants to play so better go. Post later.
