Heart Attack for the Day

Had my heart attack for the day. Took cats outside on the patio in the morning. Misty went inside. Bilbo, I didn't see go inside but didn't see in the yard so thought maybe he went inside. Walk around local park trail, went grocery shopping, and come home to get ready for work. Didn't see Bilbo inside or outside. Went to work and come home. Open the can food and Misty came out to eat. But no Bilbo. Start hunting inside and outside checking back and front yards calling him. Roommate comes upstairs and starts looking for him. He finally sees him sitting outside in front of the sliding doors. He heard me calling him in the yards. Relief.

Conversation of the Day

Roommate: Becky.

Me: Yes.

Roommate: Hey Becky.

Me: Yes.

Roommate: Could you please come to the kitchen?

Me: Hang on. (Bump Bilbo off my lap). Sorry, I had cat in my lap.

Roommate: It's alright. Would you like some chicken?

Me: Sure.

Ch 7 Bankruptcy Discharge

Received the discharge papers for my Ch 7 Bankruptcy. The trustee never demanded any money to pay to keep my car so I don't have to empty my retirement fund to keep my car that my Mom bought for me. Now I get to pay income tax on that $50,000 credit card debt that got discharged next year. And if my Mom dies in the next 6 months, I have to report any life insurance money I receive. Not everything gets discharged. My mortgage I reaffirmed so any payments go on my credit report. I wasn't behind on that so no foreclosure for me. Then I have to pay income taxes I owe from taking out money from retirement to pay my credit cards last year. Then I have to pay my student loans and one increased the monthly payments so will be done with that in December. The other will take 5 years to pay off. At least hopefully have less stress and less panic attacks. Not complete stress relief, but some relief.

Grocery shopping

Saving all my money from work early pay for my mortgage due next week and I have to pull money from my retirement account to make up the shortage. Those doctor payments and A/C repair are really hurting me. With roommate gone my water bill went down $20 and saved money on food, but he is back with his girlfriend. He said on the way to the grocery store he shouldn't have quit his job or moved out into his friend's place. Friend kept promising to give him money then never gave it. He spent his days promising not to get drunk and then get drunk to flirt with his girlfriend. They did food delivery in his car and friend kept all the money earned. He never took him to his 2 interviews so he didn't get the job. He is trying to improve his life and sensed his friend was just using him for companionship since his wife broke his heart. He never received a phone call or even rejection email from the grocery store he interviewed at last Friday. Manager brought up him having a lot of jobs. I had to explain that makes him look flaky. Managers don't want to invest time and money to train him just to have him quit in 3 weeks. He replied he is learning that the hard way. I told him if I had his friend's money I would be doing something with my life instead of sitting onmy tushy drinking beer. I would open a bed and breakfast and catering business. I would buy a lake house and rent it out as an Air B-n-B when I am not there. I would employ people giving people a chance to learn skills and pay bills. I would donate to animals shelters and food pantries to make the world a better place. I heard of one local animal shelter closing from lack of funds and volunteers. I hope they funraised the $20,000 credit card bill they had. I would have loved to hand over the funds they need to pay their credit card bill but God insists I live in poverty not able to pay my mortgage without hurting my retirement fund.

At the grocery I had $14 to spend from tips. Helped with guest with their luggage cause driver went home early from boredom and people give me tips just for ringing up gift shop purchses. Forced into shuttle duty, but had no rides requested so no tips there. I bought some generic pop tarts, crackers, French bread loaf from the bakery, peanut butter, and margarine. Peanut butter and margarine I will use to make oatmeal cookies and cereal bars. I got flour, sugar, vegetable oil, and spices. Better use it to make food cause I have no more money for groceries until I get my mortgage paid. Hopefully next week I can get all the things on my grocery list.

Bad Customer

Told off a Karen guest. They demanded water bottles and snacks they didn't get at check in. Looked up her room. She is hotel club bottom tier and snacks are top tiers only. She only gets water. Then coworker said they were demanding hotel parking saying it wasn't her problem we ran out of spots, she needs hotel parking. Actually it is her problem cause she has to park across the street and I am passed the point of caring. Hotel parking is 60 spots and we have 230 rooms so hotel parking is guaranteed to nobody unless paid through the sales department.

All in Day's Work

Fun day. We got 3 bus tours at the hotel and many don't speak English. One bus driver kept asking about free parking cause group leader refuses to contact the city for a bus parking permit. The city bags the meters and that is their spot to park. The hotel is not responsible for contacting the city and paying for the bus permit. They asked to park out front of the hotel so asked the general manager and they said no, park at the meters where they are supposed to park. General Manager is having the sales department contact group leaders about the bus parking.

Monday, Monday

Trying to get the front desk task force manager trained that we don't order food and take breaks during our hotel reception where guests receive free drinks and snacks. When 100 guests want free cocktails is not the time for employees to be ordering their free meal from the kitchen. I swear they to need calm down about me leaving the counter and not clocking out for breaks.

Sunday Funday

Today was fun. Attended brother’s church, visited Mom, and then went to IHOP. Then come to work to hear about Employee Appreciation Day at another hotel in West Des Moines. Everybody insisted I come on my off hours. Yeah, I had no intention of going. Playing games with housekeeping, sales, and management (everyone else is working) fails to excite me.

Beyond Angry

I am beyond angry right now. Driver takes PTO. Approved by desk manager, but not tell the general manager who does the schedule. So me and other supervisor get to drive shuttle. Driving that shuttle triggers anxiety from one way streets, road blocks for weekend events, and I am not familiar where a lot of restaurants are located making it difficult to easily drive around and find places. Of course they can't get the part time driver to come in. Then looking at yesterday's paycheck, I am missing 4 1/3 hours. I forgot to clock in one day, wrote out a time clock correction form to put it in accountant's box, and she didn't put it in the computer. Then on top of that I asked for time off around my birthday and general manager is dragging his feet approving that saying we are short on staff. BS. We have 6 desk workers (I am #7) and 3 shifts. Do not tell me we don't have staff to cover 5 days off. I want to walk out of that hotel so bad and never return. Please God on this blessed Sunday, help me find a new job, help me win a sweepstakes, help me sell merchandise, or help me sell rights to my stories. I am sick of working here.

Update. Had 2 bus tour busses arrive. They needed extra help so a shuttle driver was called in to help carry luggage. He said he can stay all night so don't have to drive. Yeah. Still hate my job so quitting 1st I get.

Wedding and weekend event in hotel

Fun night last night with an event with costume contests and drag shows. Then the straight wedding party block gets to complain about the queer brigade (and I explained to intern from Phillipines what queer brigade means) and not family friendly event going on. OMG their grandfather in their 80's or granddaughter that was given no age were forced into an elevator with weirdos dressed in animal costumes or too revealing clothing (FYI, men in swim trunks show more skin than these people were and there were women at the event too). We should warn guests of events not kid friendly happening cause they would not have stayed here if they knew weirdos would be roaming the hotel. All I could do was apologize and assure there is a dress code stating private areas must covered. The world is not kid friendly and not every event booked at hotel is meant for kids to attend. Too bad they missed the Pride celebration in June. And they were free to leave the hotel and go stay somewhere else at any time.

Kicked guest out of hotel

Had a guest refuse to leave the hotel by departure limit and their credit card declined payment so the General Manager was forced to call the police to evict the person out of the hotel room, then made them pay in cash. Housekeeping staff said the room was trashed and thought the guest was on drugs. She had a dog she claimed a service animal. The way it barked in the lobby at another dog, I'm guessing she just didn't want to pay the pet fee. She also chargebacked her last 2 visits for no apparent reason so that is also why she was forced to apay in cash. Probably had wanted free hotel room. General Manager is marking them as Do Not Rent so she can't stay here ever again.

Doc Visit

Visited the ENT doc and hearing is back to normal. No need for hearing aid yet. Relief. These $300 per office visit bills were killing me. I have to finish paying income tax next month then have to wait to see what bankruptcy trustee will make me pay to keep my car. Plus still trying to pay sister back for Bilbo's surgery last March. I just pray nothing else goes wrong. Need to replace the dishwasher, but that will have to wait until I can start saving money again.

Interesting Work Day

Ms. Thang checked out of their room today at 6 AM. Supposed to work until the end of the week and leave next week. Maybe family emergency. It's a mystery.

Then hours later, the general manager emails a new schedule for new task force person's arrival tonight and the discharge of Ms. Thang last night. I guess he got tired of her leaving early every day. She just worked until others took their lunch break then said I'm done and left the rest of her shift. Saw her walking around the hotel and chatting with the shuttle drivers. I won't cry about it.

Shuttle drivers left early from lack of guests needing a ride. For 1 hour we had no driver. Then a handicap couple arrive needing help with their luggage. Guess who said, I will gladly help you. Yep, me. And got a nice tip for it.

Training the Task Force

Arrived at work to see receipts in the cash drawer. Try to explain to newbies how we handle petty cash payments. Task Force Ms. Thang says, "You ain't talking to me cause you ain't the boss". I replied, "Last I checked I'm a supervisor so right now I am in charge". Next thing I know while I am counting the drawer, she says "Guest needs a key, boss." The other desk worker jumped in to make the key and Ms. Thang walks away to never return. She was supposed to work another 3 hours. I know, just need to accept some people are jerks.

Task Force manager came by to see how we were doing, do we need a break yet. While she was in the back room, I asked to speak to her about what just happened. Manager thought Ms. Thang went to lunch. I saw her leave the hotel and never came back so not at lunch. She replied she would have a meeting with the general manager because that was completely uncalled for when I wa trying to train her in a procedure we are supposed to follow (and it is the accountant's procedure, not me making up stuff). So leave it in her hands.

Customer Service

Funny one. Had a guest check in and they return claiming there is a waterfall pouring out of the A/C vent on the ceiling. Give them another room. Call engineering to check it out if just a just a drip with a puddle on the floor or a bigger problem to put room out of order. They reply they are on lunch. Naturally my guest heard that to react with a chuckle. OK, I replied, they will have a big mess to clean up when they get off lunch. Front Desk Manager goes up and records a waterfall pouring from the ceiling vent. She said that happened right after she turned off the A/C. Put room out of order until water gets cleaned up.

New Task Force helper

Met the 30 day task force gal running the front desk today. Listening to her talk nonstop, she knows her stuff and immediately liked her. Other task force don't adapt well, but she was adapting immediately and learning how our desk operates. And in 30 days, she leaves. Another task force front desk person is coming to help out. Seriously, why can't this hotel actually hire people? They hired one person and working on gettign her train in our system and procedures.

Great Escape

Had the great escape as I walked into my door. Bilbo escaped out from the kitchen and had fun in the garage. Pushed him back inside the kitchen. Naughty.

Day off

Stayed up late watching Amazon's Rings of Power before the next season is released. See if I could catch some foreshadowing. Woke up to a day off letting the cats outside while I eat breakfast cereal and Diet Coke. I know, real nutritious to start the day. Ordered my groceries online and exercised before going for a walk around the local park trail. Picked up groceries and bought the cold items separately. I was 13 cents short at the cash register. I added everything up and thought I had more than I did. Tax on some items and not others makes it tricky to figure sometimes. Cashier gave me the 13 cents from her pocket. That was so embarrassing. Lady behind me said I was ok and not be embarrassed. I even offered to put one item back. I tried to hold back from crying in embarrassment. I came home to put my groceries away. Read one of my stories to pass the time. I know I need to get working on my spy caper or historical drama stories, but my brain is so stressed I can't write anything. They say journaling helps, but not really.

Cupcake

Arrive to work to find a new front desk manager has arrived. They are task forced and will be here for 1 month. Oh joy. I asked the senior supervisor of they were offered the management position. They were not. Shame, they would make a great manager. Oh well. Had the fromer security guard's girlfriend who works at a grocery store bakery come by with cupckakes. The cupcakes had beautiful frosting flowers that resembled a garden. Cake tasted awful but have to be gracious and tell her next week how wonderful it was. It would be awesome to open a bakery with her, she does beautiful cake decorating. But I have no money and neither does she. Hopefully once this bankruptcy is out of my hair and my stress level goes down, I can save money to do youtube videos for a cooking show to showcase me selling baked goods or dessert mixes I can ship. Patreon and Pinterest pages to follow to share my recipes and maybe eventually get enough recipes for an actual cook book I can sell. Even calendars later on. Can't do catering that requires refrigeration without a health inspection (which I have to pay for and then get a business license which I also have to pay for). But now I am broke and waiting for my bankruptcy to discharge to start saving money again so I cna do a farmer's market next summer. I have dreams, just no money turn them in plans. I pray for money to come my way and nothing happens. I am so tired of praying.

Roommate mowed the lawn

Roommate was here with his girlfriend. It is her birthday, age 19. He mowed the lawn so he could get money to buy a present. Magic mushroom vaper. I let her have one of my beaded keychains. I can be nice and paid the requested $20 for mowing the lawn. I drove them home to his friend's apartment. Found out the real reason he left my house. His car buddy won't stop contacting him. He waits for the day he returns to my house and I can tell him my roommate no longer lives here. He also quit the fast food place after he was given 8 hours that one week he hardly worked. He got an interview at a Mexican food place, but they rejected him. He says he is interviewing at more places and collected more of his things. I asked if he got all his things now, and he didn't answer. His friend lives in an apartment. 850 sq foot 2 bedroom 1 bath apartments I read online. No prices listed but guessing it's $900 or so rent. My nearby 2 bedroom 1 1/2 bath apartment with 1024 sq feet was about $1000. Roommate also took the box of food his girlfreind donated a few weeks ago with him. Friend is stingy with money. Friend drives a $90,000 Hellcat car, shows me hundred dollar bills in his wallet, spends plenty money on booze, but stingy with money when comes to food. From my experience, people who are stingy with money are also stingy with their hearts. Roommate disagreed. Cats were hiding and Misty just came out. I cooked a frozen pizza and shared it. Roommate said friend got the gifrlfriend a chocolate cake and they would save me a piece. I said "See you later" as they left. He said he will come around in the future. I said I am getting accustomed to him being gone and do miss him. It's nice having someone around after 25 years living alone. He laughed saying I miss his bs and yelling during video games. I finally told him I wish him to be happy. He replied I was sweet. Well good night.

Perseid Meteor Shower 2024

Tried to watch the meteor shower and only flashes of light came from lightening. Too many clouds. And too many trees on my street to see much of the northern sky. We were getting aurora lights too. Didn't see those either.

Watched the Closing Ceremony of the Olympics and going out to look for the meteor shower. Finally gave up and went to bed. At least I could sleep in the next morning before going to work.

Roommate Blues

Roommate news got better. He has been working hard to make money staying with his friend, but not making much money. He wants me to pay him to move my lawn. I did pay my nephew once before he started working at a fast food place and I had to mow myself. I said I could pay him $20 per mow and he can mow twice a month. Much of his stuff is here. Will see what happens. He says he friend can get him a job next month and will keep current job he heates for the tme being. I'm sure their drunk every night. Well, less food I have to buy for him and I'm sure my water bill will go down next month.

Lecture from Management

Got email lecture from General Manager that included my fellow front desk workers. I included info for newbies from guest complaints in am email. I am told we need to talk cause I am new to day shifts and I can't tell when guests are lying me (I've worked day, night, and overnight shifts for 3 years). Everyone here knows all the rules. I wouldn't count on that. Apparently I can't make proper decisions when to compensate, but when I ask for help, he blows me off saying I should make decisions on my own as supervisor. I emailed back declaring I didn't compensate said guests and simply explained things to the guests with an apology.

I don't know what was said or what the guests heard. And I worked 25 years customer service so I am well aware that people lie to get free things. Either he trusts me to make decisions or he doesn't. Opinions?

Excitement at work

Excitement of the morning. Guest accused housekeeper of stealing their wallet from their room. They were screaming at me at the front desk what was I going to do about it and they are ready to call the police. What can I do but call the housekeeping supervisor to investigate it. I have to wait to hear back and they have to get to a wedding. Well 10 minutes later I go on break and hear from someone that guest found their wallet. Heard they demanding compensation for the stolen wallet.

A coworker later said a guest parked on the street cause meters are free overnight and Sundays. Well they forogt to lock their car so their packed trunk stuff was stolen. And they blame us for it. Excuse me, how was that our fault. Call the police, call the National Guard, what do they expect me to about it? You left items in view in your unlocked car. How is the hotel staff responsible for that? Just because they never been to my city before doesn't make the hotel responsible for leaving your brain at home.

State Fair Has Begun

Oversold during State Fair is real bad when other hotels up to 45 miles away are sold out. Had to give a guest an out of order room with broken air conditioner. General Manager took charged and stopped the oversales. Thank you. Worked the morning shift with a coworker who kept hollering out that there was a customer standing in front of me when I typing into my computer. Oh I'm sorry, was there a reason you can't help them? You noticed them so apparently you weren't that busy. Lots of people here for the State Fair and half want to change their room type. Sorry, sold out. If you wanted a 2 bedroom suite or a river view suite, then you should have reserved it.

Came home to a fixed air conditioner. My niece came over to let the repairman in. The capacitor needed replaced. I also put in a new filter. The other was filthy. Since roommate isn'there I turned up the thermostat. He doesn't wear shorts like me so he gets hot faster. Cats were hiding. Bilbo came right out. Misty I had to call her all over the house before I saw her in the kitchen. I looked everywhere for this cat. Had to give treats to get her out of hiding.

Worked on the dishes and dinner.

Job interview was a bust. They wanted full time seasonal employees and I was lookign for part-time. Oh well. What can I do?

Adventurous Day

Had my ear appointment where the rest of the ear wax was removed. Ringing went away and then came back. First it was low, then it got worse. Took a hearing test. One ear was normal and the other that had the wax has diminished hearing. Doc prescribed a steroid (great, I get to gain weight when trying all sumer to loose it). And if the steroid doesn't work, I will need a hearing aid. My anxiety is through the roof. Have another appointment in 2 weeks. How am I going to pay for all this?

Exercised and went for a walk around the park trail.

Next I made an appointment to fix my air conditioner for tomorrow. Thought I work the evening shift and then realized writing it on the calendar that I work the day shift tomorrow. Asked roommate stayign with a friend if he could come over to let in the repairman. He has an interview. OK. Tried my brother and sister. Brother is busy. Sister has to have someone babysit our Mom for her to come over. Oh boy, I might have to reschedule the appointment.

Next receive an email for an interview tomorrow after work on video chat platform. I need to make more money even if the job is seasonal.

Better to get to bed to get to work early in the morining. So better start working on cleaning the litterbox and dishes. Dishes might wait until tomorrow.

Good morning

Got woken up this morning by roommate calling to be let in. Wow, didn't take his key with him. He walked around and complained his plant was dying. I was watering it. It could be cause it's August and days are getting shorter. When he headed for the door I said good-bye and he answered he will be back. Sleep until noon. Got up and exercised in living room before local park trail 2 mile walk. It was nice playing music loud without worrying about waking up roommate. Then ordered a few groceries I needed to be pick up later. Got laundry started. Then finally started getting dinner ready. Making hamburgers with macaroni and cheese. Cooked the hamburgers in the oven instead fo the grill. So many clouds might mean rain. Then finish the evening watching the Olympics. My favorite is gymnastics. Our state fair has started so hotel will be full until it is over. Lovely to be oversold as usual and everyone else is booked up too.

Fun at work

Shuttle driver called in sick tonight so day shuttle driver worked a 12 hour shift (I said they could stay as long as they wanted) and then we had no driver for guests the rest of the night. Not that we had a lot of guest requests for the shuttle. Task force was ready to volunteer me to drive. I replied, I will be mad if I have to work an 8 hour shift driving that shuttle. That is not my job nor what I signed up for. I hate driving that shuttle. I only drive under extreme obligation like a guest will miss thier plane or we don't have a driver when we should. That does not give others the right to volunteer me to drive. Even better, since we were slow they left early once I had my lunch break. Once they left, I can't leave the front desk unattended if someone needs a ride. Byotch.

Then my evening got even more exciting with thefire alarm going off. We had someone repairing the fire control system earlier in the day and manager plus engineer was wandered around to figure out what set it off. Someone painting got dust/fumes in the smoke detector to set it off. Great. If there was a fire, it would be annonced over the walkie talkie.

Come home to a hot house and cats wanting their canned food I give them before going to bed. Got the fans running and hope to call the repairman tomorrow saving my early paycheck deposits. I need to gas for the car so no grocery buying this week with all the first of the month bank withdrawals. Then have to save for the mortgage. At least I get free food at work.

Roommate still with his friend. Said he will be by in the morning to grab his stuff. I wonder if he is unsure about this move if he just takes off without telling me, then leaves his stuff here to pick up later. Usually most people make a plan to move on a ceetain day, pack up their stuff and move on assigned day then say good-bye. But then my roommate does things differently. He lived with this friend before so he should know what to expect. He said his friend will get him a job next month and he will keep his current job until then. Why next month? If he is a manager at a fast food place, why can't he hire my roommate now. This whole thing is fishy making me wonder what he is hiding. Eventually truth comes out.

Another Day

Missed church again. Came home late and woke up just before the service was to start. I am so tired bring exhausted all the time and never recover. I know it's stress, but no relief from that. I pray and hope and nothing ever changes. Played the service of my hometown church on my smartphone. Cats wanted outside whole it's cool so ate my breakfast on the patio. Went to work and same sh**show. My room has mold, A/C leaking, what do mean 2 full size beds instead of 2 queens, where's your hot tub.

Come home and cats are in the kitchen. Roommate's stuff is still here. He messaged he will start a new job with friend next month. OK. Says he will keep his current job for a while. Watched a video in memory of a dead pet and burst into tears to cry for several minutes. I wasn't over the dead pet, it hit me that roommate might be leaving permanently. And not even saying goodbye, just a message of him moving in with his friend after I ask if was home cause I haven't seen him since yesterday. Well, that was the plan to have him stay until he got onto his feet. Eventually everyone leaves. As Pink Floyd said, All in all you're just another brick in the wall. That song is about trauma, heart ache, and despair being bricks building an emotional wall around your heart to protect you from emotional pain. The only way to survive trauma is turn your compassionate heart into stone. It happens.

Curse Never Ends

Wake up at 4 AM covered in sweat. My air conditioner is running, but no cold air is coming from the vent. Great, and I have no money to pay a repairman who charges extra on weekends and evenings. Now I have to worry about my cats dying from heat strokes. Room temperature above 80 degree can trigger heat stress with cats. My room is 78 with the A/C running. I turn it off and when I wake up again, room is 79. Open windows to let the cool air in and run the ceiling fans. When heat starts to hit, I shut the windows. Did my walk around local park trail. Wiped off the sweat with a wet washcloth to cool myself. Room is now 82. Have to get to work and I text message my roommate since I hven't seen him all day. No, he is not home. I don't know if he came home after work since he said I didn't have to pick him. He hasn't worked all week until last night, does he work there anymore? He says he still has his job and staying with a friend he knew working at one of his jobs before he met me. His wife left him so I guess roommate is being the supportive friend. I reply, "OK". He didn't even say goodbye. Start picking up sticks and a huge tree branch that fell in my driveway that my roommate moved into the yard. I have to move it to towards the street cause the city is goign to pick up storm debri on Monday.

Make to work and worry all night about my cats getting overheated with nobody home to help them if they get in distress. I cried clocking in and then wiped away the tears cause nobody cares about me. They just want funny stories as if my life was their soap opera. We are oversold at the hotel as usual and people complaining about their rooms. One left because of mold on the wall and we had no room to move them to. They left the hotel. Then had a guest complain someone vomited in the pool and another complained their kid cut their foot near a light. Great.

Returned home and room temperature is 86. Find cats and they are fine. One takes a drink of water. Put ice in their water bowls as I change them. Start running the fans. Best thing for heat is water. I volunteered at a living history museum and took the heat by drinking water. I am drinking ice water to keep from getting overheated.

Rejection email

Received the rejection email from the hotel I interviewed at. I want to cry. I hope and prayed so hard and now start over applying for jobs.

Last night's thunderstorm dropped a huge tree branch into my driveway blocking it completely. Roommate moved it into a yard so I could get to work this morning.

Heard roomamte's rich buddy who flirted with me when he was drunk has now has been arrested in about 1000 miles away. Yeah, that makes me want me to date him. Roommate said he got his money by selling a house he inherited from a relative. And he is busy buying a hellcat car, drinking alcohol, and telling women he will take care of them then wonders why they end up using him. I asked why didn't he use the money to pursuit a passion like abusiness or hobby or start animal shelter/charity. Oh, he scared to lose his money cause he ex wife took much of it from him in the divorce. Looks like this new wife will soon be the next ex wife who takes his money. And you want me to date this guy cause he's rich and will take of me, and can't figure out why I'm not attracted t him. I'm sorry, was I supposed to fall in love instantly with his car?

Car buddy roommate kicked out of the house is still trying to contact roommate. His message was "He's my new phone number". Roommate is not going to call him. Buddy's grandma and sister have contacted roommate on his behalf. Grandma told him that he overdosed on Benedryl in a suicide attempt and refusing to work until roommate comes back. Roommate packed up his things in a garbage and dropped it at grandma's house. He says he is done with him. Sigh. I don't know if he is making friends at his new job. At least he has a new girlfriend who keeps hanging out here. She even brought a box of food for us.
