Today's walk

If you are tired of my cat walk stories then exit now.

No leashes today and kitties had a 3 hr and 40 min walk in the bush. Frodo ran out the door and Precious stared at me from the top of the cupboards. Go downstairs and Frodo grasps his freedom to climb a tree full of birds. After 15 min Precious meows so go get him. They wander around the building and then under cars to cross the parking lot into the bush behind the dumpster. Sit there for an hour waiting for them to return. They do. Then Frodo jumped down, hides under a car, and runs into the bush behind the garages. Since Precious came later, I give them another 15 minutes outside. Call them back. Precious comes out. Go look for Frodo. He answers me but the leaves and branches are so thick he could be standing next to my foot and I would not know it. Precious helps looks for him. I hear him but can't see him as I make it to the other side of the garages. Go inside hoping separation and hunger will encourage a return. Go out 2 more times. First time I just stayed at the edge of the bushes and heard some people talking as they leave their car. I thought one gal yelled out, Every thought of getting a dog, or it could have been my overactive imagination. 2nd time go across the garages the opposite way and cause neighbors sitting in their cars to glance at my walking by. I say hello and continue to the garages. Foruth time I go out I don't really call them just wave the metallic paper fishing pole, they know the sound means me. Precious comes out meowing, but doesn't help find Frodo. He is more interested in the ground floor neighbors wathcing TV. Watch neighbors walk by with their garbage and I pet Precious while swinging the pole. After a while, Frodo squeaks a few times before he comes back. Now Precious refuses to come inside and tries to escape, then I have to drag him out from under the stairs to carry him upstairs. Leashes again tomorrow.

As I was with Precious outside, rain clouds cooled off the temperature and after we got in it started the sprinkle. Brushed Precious and played with Frodo. I swear Frodo never wears out while Precious sleeps all the time. Nothing else to report. Post later. Bye!
