Let's see, there is just so much happening I barely know where to begin. Ok, that's a lie but it is a good beginning for a posting.
Kitties meowed to be let out, ran when I grabbed the harnesses, so we stayed inside again. Well, actually Precious stayed on the bed while I chased Frodo all over the place. No complaints here.
Went over to renew my lease. The doors are locked. I wonder if the handle is broken and peek in the window. Lights are on. I have an appointment to renew it at this time so they should be here. Guy walks by and I asked if the office is supposed to be locked up. He runs away and gets his key to the gym in the same building. I try to follow him in and he states he doesn't work here, just impatient with office locked. I just wanted to get to the connecting door between the office and the gym. That's locked too. Ok, I said, I guess they don't want me to renew my lease and back up the car to leave. Then a familiar office face comes with a guy so I assume she was showing an apartment and was by herself. She apologizes. Get my lease renewed. Explain I have enough ceiling fans, light fixtures, and did the carpet shampooing last year but it didn't go well with the cat hair. So she gives me a book of gifts for their gratitude of renewing. I liked the digital camera, but will see how many pixels it is before ordering it through a website.
Then on to Walmart to pick up Memorial Day flowers and some Sun In hair lightener since my roots are really coming out (I get lazy in the wintertime). I walk to the hair dye department where is usually is located and couldn't find it in the mass of 100 boxes taking up 3/4 of the aisle. Find a lady ripping open boxes and putting merchandise away. I ask if she knew where is was, maybe they moved it, who knows. She didn't know what I was talking about. Sun In, it's a hair lightener. Eyeliner?, she asks. No, hair lightener called Sun In. She walks away from me. While I'm staring at the shelves of hair dye she tells a lady her item is 3 aisles down in that direction (pointing). Minute later, I finally find it and walk by and tell the clerk I found it (no thanks to her) holding it in my hand since she didn't know what I was talking about. She replies, Good for you. I was so shocked I didn't know how to feel (I usually get impeccable service at this store). Got my flowers and met a clerk asking if I was finding everything alright. Oh yes. When I showed up to work I had to ask a 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th opinion if I was being overly sensitive about that lady's rudeness. No, I'm not overly sensitive. I was very angry when the shock wore off. I looked up the number on the receipt and called the store asking for a manager in the most calm manner I could muster (if you are going to complain do it with the right people and do it in the right tone). I got an apology and he said he will make sure this doesn't happen again. Sorry I didn't get her name cause her back was towards me.
And finally, had a guy with a reservation with another company but they are closed on his cell phone shouting at the customer service people cause he had a free day on that reservation and asking me for a car at the same time. He said even said, Sorry I don't mean to take it out on you. I sympathsized with his plight, saying he should be angry if he was told they would wait for his flight and didn't. I also said I will gladly tell that closer I stole his customer and give the customer's name to him. What can I say, I love stealing customers. He laughed and thanked me for my help.
Post later. Bye!
