Laundry day

Took laundry over to sister's house as usual and sister arrived home first. She needed a few minutes of quiet time before getting the kids at the babysitter down the street. Read a letter from my aunt during quiet time and asked sister how the kids like school. Nephew still doesn't like getting left behind, but enjoys the babysitter's noisy toys. Niece is happy as a clam making new friends. One girl played with her 3 recesses in a row.

Aunt letter was full of her Fall cleaning b/c her gym was being cleaned and she had nothing better to do. She washed the car, trimmed a bush, got out Fall decorations, cleaned upstairs, and went through her husband's things (he died last winter). Then she complains my Mom doesn't always answer the phone when she calls her. Yes, Mom plays cards in the rec room, eats dinner in the dining room, and shops for groceries for breakfast and lunch. She says as Football returns they will have the theater playing games for the residents. Mom said she was unsure if she should go cause most game people are men. Oh yes, I said, go watch the games on a big screen, she might meet a new boyfriend. She probably have better luck than me. Mom laughed at that.

So after a quick rest, my sister is restored and goes to pick up the kids. Immediately they fight over the computer. I think both have YouTube addiction. It was niece's turn so nephew has to lay on the floor and kick her chair. This greatly disturbs niece and when threaten with a time out, he pouts in the hallway rolling up the entry way rug. As things calm down, I hug niece hello and announce this week's movie loan. Now she has to watch a movie she requested last week. Nephew gets on the computer. Niece disagrees with this, but as my sister pointed she is watching a movie so it becomes HIS turn.

Get laundry done and hug good-bye. It is was time for baths and go to bed for the kids.
