Missed excitement

I missed excitement yesterday. A customer was arrested at 10:30 A.M. for
driving drunk and driving in the center of the road going the wrong
direction. Then the customer extended the rental.

My company finds out from the police department of the impounding
charges billed to the company, since the company owns the car. My
coworker informs the customer of the impounding fees that will be billed
to the customer's credit card. Of course the customer does not get the
car back. My coworker wondered who gets drunk at 10:30 in the morning. I
wonder if this lady really expected the company not to find out by
extending the rental. Police do notify car rental companies of their
cars being impounded or abandoned on the road. Post later. Bye!
