Keep off grass

Today the kitties got spooked by the very loud lawn mowers enough to run inside. I have been noticing little signs saying "Chemical Treated" and "Keep Off Grass". I wonder if we are not allowed to touch the grass, where are the dogs suppose to pee. I guess the lawn mowers are allowed to walk on the grass. Not that everybody is obeying the signs anyway.
