Dance recital and a missing cat

I went to my niece's dance recital and was 20 minutes late because my cat Frodo refused to come back inside after our walk. After calling him for 40 minutes, I heard a meow but found no cat. I left him outside because I don't have all day to hunt him down. The dance recital was 4 hrs. and 15 min. long.

Naturally, I was worried about Frodo thinking of bored teenagers torturing him or like the cat a few days ago who came home with a piece of metal sticking out of his head believed to be from a raccoon trap and was put to sleep because the owners couldn't afford the removal of the metal piece. He was fine. I whistled for him from the car. Not at the front door. Went around the back door and heard Precious meowing from the window. Frodo meowed when he saw me. He was thirsty. The apartment was stuffy so I was glad I left my ceiling fans on. They are chillin on the balcony now. All is well. Post later. Bye!
