Suffering from TMI

Today I have suffered through TMI (Too Much Information) while reading a book on a famous king. I hate it when authors must give a 2 paragraph biography of every person the subject of the book has met. I just want to know how these people affected the subject's perception on the world. One biography was like reading a list of famous people. The daughter of Dame Fifi means nothing to me when I have no clue on who Dame Fifi is. Well off to bed when I'm done with my cocoa. Post later.
