Went outside with both Precious and Frodo. Precious came when I shut the door and didn't wish to be left behind again. Tossed some trash and Frodo disappears. Precious was under a car and meowed his presence. I heard Frodo squeak a few times and called him, but didn't see him anywhere. Precious yowled his "Where are you" meow trying to find Frodo. Eventually, Frodo appeared by the back door and then chased Precious towards the dumpster. I followed them a ways into the wooded area nearly slipping on the slope and grabbing a thorny briar bush. I decided the open tree area and brush pile were caused by the top of a tree being struck by lightening and fell down. I saw another brush pile and the top of both tree trunks were very jagged so can't think of anything else that would take the top of a tree off. Precious walked passed the brush pile as I followed so thought maybe this was the end of his voyages to the back yard. We started going back and Precious jumped on the brush pile. I try to hurry but a vine across my chest slowed me down and once I got the vine over my head, Precious was in the back yard.
Stomped on the brush pile more to lower the platform to jump over. Precious ran off and won't answer my calls and Frodo got to the end of the woods to run off. Tried for 20 minutes to get them inside armed with toys and treats. I swing a teaser on a string to find the yard owners staring out their window. I finally give up screaming for them to get new owners cause I am so tired of this. Go inside and watch Oprah talk to Tom Cruise. After 40 minutes, I heard a meow outside so missed a part of Tom Cruise thinking they were waiting by the door. No, in the woods.
Frodo comes out and hides under the cars when someone comes out. Frodo squeaks for Precious and we return to the woods. Precious is out and then hides under the dog house deck. Fine, stay in the yard all night. Take Frodo inside and grab the cat tower to get Precious out of the yard. Reach the dumpster and there is Precious. He can jump over the fence after all, he just refuses to do it when I call him. I am so ready shoot them for their 2 hour and 20 minute walk outside, but too happy to have them back. Once they get hungry or thirsty, they return to the door. Will go to Petco for new leashes and harness them tomorrow since they don't come when called and run off. And the nice weather is only beginning. Post later. Bye!
