Had customer call declaring her car did not start and it was in a
parking garage. My coworker offers to do a car exchange for her. No, she
does not desire a car exchange because does not need it anymore. So my
coworker sent 2 guys out to jump start the car and bring it back. On the
way to the parking garage, the customer shows up at the airport counter.
She further complains how inconvenient it was to physical lock all the
doors. I am guessing the automatic lock button did not work because the
car battery was dead. The woman continues with this was the worse car
she ever rented, hated the company coupon stipulations, and will never
rent from our company again.
She demands compensation for the dead car, the understay fee removed,
and the gas fee removed. The understay fee we remove without being asked
and would not charge for gas for a broken down car anyway. The
compensation for her inconveinence will be nothing. We are paying the
fee to drive the car out of the parking garage, paying for the gas, and
for a new battery. Plus, we offered to exchane cars. We do not
compensate a customer who left a light in the car all day, that must be
manually turned off and on, thus making the car battery die. I can tell
there is a full moon outside. Post later. Bye!
