Happy Lunar New Year

Happy Lunar New Year. Year of the Wood Snake and Yin symbol. I worked all day.

Had fun today with receptionist gone in the morning. Answered phone calls. Prepared forms for mailing. And then worked on letters. Exercised after work. I am so out of shape that my legs gave out on the treadmill after 15 minutes. Worked on arms and stretching on the exercise ball. Then too exhausted to continue. Then went home.

My goodness. Roommate has had a sore tooth for days. His wisdom tooth is bothering him. Told him to go to the dentist. He refused cause he can't afford it. Told him he can get cheap dental insurance online. When I was on Medicaid they didn't cover dental for adults. Well go to work and since roommate said he didn't need a ride from work today, I told him last night I would exercise after work. I get to my car after exhausting myself to find my phone has several messages and calls from roommate about an emergency. I try to send a message back but my phone won't send the message until I get to my house. Roommate is PO'ed I left him on read. No, my phone was in my car (turned on) and I didn't know he was having a painful toothache he called an emergency. He can't eat from the pain and has an interview next week. He needs emergency tooth pulled. Dentists don't do emergency tooth pulls at 5 PM. I asked if he had insurance. He has Medicaid. I Googled and yes, now Medicaid includes dental for adults now. Nice to know that. OK, he needs to make an appointment with a dentist (actually an oral surgeon cause wisdom tooth extraction is considered surgery) that takes Medicaid. He says he has to call tomorrow at 8 AM when the office opens. So he will starve until he can get to a dentist and has a manager who can't tell him when he works. I told him he can eat oatmeal or chicken broth until I can get cash cause bank is closed now and get groceries tomorrow. He said he had some Ramen so he is good. Yeah, freaked out on me about how he is ignored during an emergency and goes back to playing video games. Sigh. He said if I turn off the Wifi on my cell phone to connect with the internet better. I will try that tomorrow. Good night. How's your day?
