Last night at work interesting. Learned the Assistant General Manager got a General Manager job at another hotel. I sent an email wishing him well in his new job. I held back from saying, Take me with you. Next had a yoyo wanting a free shuttle ride home. Sorry, service ended hours ago and only for guests not a free taxi service. Then about when the breakfast staff arrive a homeless was hanging around the entrance, probably for waiting for the breakfast buffet. Security went out to check if they were a guest, but no, they want to use the bathroom. Ok, fine. Told security to make sure they don't fall asleep in there. Security tries to get the homeless to leave and he starts following a guest. Security can't get him to leave so I intervene. Asked guest who was there to ask if the airline delivered his luggage (not yet) if this person was their friend. No. Ordered homeless to leave or I was calling the cops. He went outside, but didn't leave. Started to call the cops and breakfast staff arrive. Security said homeless left so hung up before police answered. All in a night's work.
Praise the Lord. Roommate got to speak to the manager at mall security today and he will see if he can get him rehired from probation completed. He was about to give up cause guy was hardly available.
