Had all guests checked in when I arrived at work. Then people added on and more added on as a flight got canceled. Good thing I had rooms. Met the new Assistant General Manager and Food and Beverage Manager tonight.
Had one guy scream on the phone at me for not leeting his son check into the hotel because he is underage for our hotel policy (have to be age 21 to chck in). Sorry, screaming at me is not a good enough reason to break policy. He even threatened to call the corporate office after midnight. Yeah, the reservation line is not the corporate office who can force me to do anything. He will just have to find a hotel who allows under 21 people to check in by themselves. Maybe he should have done that in the first place instead of calling the reservation line telling them he is paying for it when I said I can't send him a credit authorization form to do that.
