A Christmas Carol thought

I watch A Christmas Carol every year and always notice Fred is not in Future scenes. Perhaps, not to give away that the dead man who brought so much joy to others was Scrooge. But in small ways, Fred is there. Someone had to paid for the tombstone Scrooge views. Someone had to pay the undertaker, charwoman, and laundress who sold his things to Old Joe. Bob Cratchit is not jobless (and not suddenly rich) and must work for Fred who would have inherited his business and money. Who else does Scrooge have to will his things to? My brain thinks too much.
