A small town girl living in the city full of crazy people. But then, who is normal anyway. I love books, skateboarding, ballet, loud music, hanging out with my nieces and nephew, shopping, and cats Bilbo and Misty. Amazing
A friend living on public assistance insisted I sign for benefits too. I try to explain that unlike her, I don't have kids and short on resources, welfare is not going to lift a finger to help me. I can eat out of dumpsters and live in my car for all they care. When I lost my job 2 years ago, I became familiar to "I make too much money to qualify" reply to any assistance request. Relentless friend pressures on and I cave in to apply. Public insurance shot me down after forcing me to fill out a bunch of paperwork because I already have insurance (Then why did they have me fill out 5 pages after I told them I have insurance through my job). Now I hear from food stamps that I have been denied benefits because I didn't show up for the interview. They never informed me by letter nor phone call nor email of any interview day and time. When I filled out the form, I was told I would hear from them soon about the interview day and time and who my caseworker would be, then gave a list of what I needed to bring to their office address. Weirdoes. This is why I don't like asking for public charity, it's a pain in the ass I don't need.
