Not buying it

1st, the UN under pressure declares a no fly zone over Libya to protect the rebels about to lose and who are in control over the oil wells in eastern part of the country.

Next, a coalition of countries arrive to enforce said no fly zone and recently bombed tanks, tents, ground troops, anti-aircraft guns, buildings, etc who are shooting at the rebels, with the objective of forcing the leader out.

And now, it is defended that we are not supporting the rebels who have new hope, but to protect civilians.

I don't buy it. Where was this protect civilians attitude during Sudan massacres, during Tunisia and Egpyt overthrowing their governments, and other rebellions has spread over the Middle East. We are fighting for oil and the drive to lower the price of gasoline. If the rebels had not taken control of the oil wells and fighting battles around them, we would not care if their rebellion failed. Remember the Libyan dictator was our ally, until now. Nuff Said.
