Read an article about people getting fired over things posted on the internet. Here's an idea, on social sites change your privacy settings so not just anybody can read it. On web journals, use a fake name and avoid indentifying words that tells strangers who you are. (A friend I met online was concerned about people identifying me and had to explain I'm not completely honest on my blog trying to remain anonymous) And even better advice: If you don't want the world to know your business then do not post it on the internet. And always remember that most people carry camera phones.
