Let's see. Got up and took kitties outside. I thought my plan of leashes might backfire because if I leash them and then set them loose, the freedom might go their head and they would disapppear. Yesterday I had them on leashes from their Monday excursion causing me to miss Tom Cruise. Frodo walked funny, but I checked the harness was where it was suppose to be, it was. They got spooked by a man walking by and later a man bringing out dogs, thus ripping the leash from my hand. This time they had the leash slowing them down. So tried them w/out leash today to see how they do this time. First half hour they behaved, staying close by. Second half hour was another story. Frodo chased Precious who went behind the dumpster where the wooded slope is. I guarded the brush pile spraying my spray bottle over the brush pile when Precious approached to keep him from jumping over the fence. All was well, until it was time to go home. Precious was next to me so carried him inside the stairwell. Called for Frodo for half hour with Precious meowing from the stairwell. I need to get going before the animal shelter closes because I'm dropping off some ignored by the cats things. Frodo never answers my calling or the fishing pole. Go back inside and pack my car. Precious sneaks out while carrying the laundry. Call Frodo some more. Finally he shows up to get petted and runs back into the woods. Now try to get both cats inside. I follow them into the woods and slip on the slope onto my butt. I scream at them that they are making me seriously late and how about I just leave them outside all night hungry and thristy. I leave the wooded area to get the fishing pole I left inside to load the car. Precious comes out and grab him to carry him inside. He growls at me. Frodo's turn. He comes to play with the fishing pole until I reach the parking lot. He sprints away to go under a car. I grab him hissing and snarling, then set him sorta down to grab the fishing pole on the concrete. He tries to escape but we make it inside the door. Frodo follows me upstairs and Precious comes too when I try to pick him up. I shoo them in the apartment and shut the door. I have five minutes to get to the animal shelter. Nobody answers the doorbell so I leave the things by the door. There are cars in the lot so surely somebody will see them as they leave.
Next I go to the bank for quarters and McDonald's since I haven't eaten all day. Then onto sister's house, an hour later than usual but I made it. My niece has a new tea set and keeps pouring the red kool-aid between glasses instead of drinking it, so she spills it all over the kitchen floor. Give her her Mother's Day card. Get laundry started. Make almond bark pretzels (visiting my apartment my sister notice almond bark I bought during Christmas and suggested we can make them at her house). Pushed niece in her swing. Laundry done I go home to see Mom and sister left messages. Sister was getting worried of my tardiness. Mom wanted me to ask my sister a question since she was not answering her phone, but after the fourth time she called my sister answered her question. Called Mom and we chatted how my niece never showed me the clothes Mom made for her lamby. Her dolls have clothes so lamby should too. She asked about my cat training. Sure my cats are trained, they just get an attitude like teenagers do and run off when it's nice outside. Then, my uncle who has had strokes is getting worse. He fell out of bed and hurt the back of his neck and shoulder area. The vertebrae nerves in the area were damaged, which control the fingers, and so he can no longer feed himself or sit up by himself. Even worse, he doesn't recall falling out of bed, just waking up on the floor. Apparently his crash was loud enough to stir the nurses into action to see what happened. Then recently, he can't swallow. That's not good in the question of "Will He Recover?". They have a liquid diet for him and he is losing weight rapidly. My Mom plans to visit when they attend my nieces' piano recital. I told Mom I could drive her to her side of the family's cemetery on Memorial Day. I just realized it is this month. Brain has been occupied elsewhere. Well, nothing else to report. Post later. Bye!
