Strange day

I think I'm going crazy or someone cast a curse on me. First I go to work to find a coworker handing out Girl Cookies and tells me she will be bring my cookies tomorrow. Excuse me?, I didn't order any cookies from her daughter. She said I did, 1 box. My other coworker almost asked why only buy 1 box, then recalled I have niece. I still don't recall ordering any cookies. I ordered 4 boxes from my niece and was prepared to say to no to my coworker, but I never saw her or the order sheet. I wonder what kind was under my name.

Then I do my close up duties as usual at work and start a 2nd movie thinking I have time to watch it before I leave. Next the guy next door runs his vaccuum and I realize I forgot the vaccuum and get it out to do later. I run outside to get mileage from a car and come back ready to watch the rest of my movie. I cancelled the last reservation when the guy says he doesn't need it anymore. I remind myself of the volunteer meeting tomorrow early in the morning, Saturday. I don't know exactly when I thought it was Saturday and I close any minute. I panic and run the vaccuum quickly. I'm sad not being able finish the movie, I don't know why I thought I had time for it. I shut it off and log off the computer. I run out the door thinking it odd no one else is gone, but brush off the feeling as they are about to leave or waiting for a flight. Say good-bye to everyone I pass. I am eager to get home and get some sleep. Put on my pj's, set the alarm clock for the morning, play on my computer, brush my teeth after a glass of milk, and cross off today on the calendar. It's Friday, not Saturday. Oops, I just clocked out an hour before I was suppose to. I will having some explaining to do. I guess I thought about the meeting too much.

Then I get into my mailbox I can hardly open to find a magazine I never ordered, apparently I have a subscription to it until Jan. 2007.

Even spookier, while playing on the computer and listening to music with headphones on, my TV turns on. At first I thought it was the answering machine because I heard a ring like a bell and a man talking. No, I look around to find my TV is on and the remote control is on the other end of the couch. I lean over to grab it wondering if I have a ghost. I better go to bed before anything else weird happens. My day started so normal and usual. What happened?

Update: Everything did not go well getting to the volunteer orientation. The street I was suppose to turn on in their directions has been wiped out due to consturction on our beloved interstate/freeway. I emailed for new directions.
