Family Reunion

I went to a family reunion today. We had a potluck dinner. My Mom's cousin said that there was so much food brought that if you leave starving it will be your own fault. We took turns holding my baby niece. When the baby needed a nap, her father fell asleep before the baby did. We stayed in the air conditioned house while most of the men played horseshoes outside and chatted under a tree. My Mom's aunt took a rest of the floor. I guess a bed or couch was not good enough. My older 2 nieces got the new Harry Potter book. The 17-year-old read it in 9 hours and did not like the ending. She did not think #6 was a great as the first 5. The 13-year-old niece continued reading it today. She said it was not not too scary and evil for her to handle. I glanced at the first couple pages about the Prime Minister receiving a message. I have to wait til tomorrow to read it. I was not at home when the book came in the mail. I had a lovely time telling my aunts about my museum work and still in my apartment because I learned to hate moving.

I made it home to realize all my cables channels are back, finally. I guess they got done messing up the system. I asked my oldest neice if she finished reading the book I made for her. Not yet. I asked if it was too difficult to read. She said no, just a busy bee without much time on her hands to read it. Yet, she read Harry Potter in one day. I hope my improvements to my story spice it up enough to keep people's attention. I also placed on my blog a site meter to know how many people read my web journaling. So far I am the only person who has looked at it since 1 AM Friday. I decided to delte this blog if I still have zero hits in a week's time. I'll place my energy to write elsewhere. I have 3 blogs. Post later. Bye!
