4th of July

I know I said before that I hate holidays. Really I don't like the days
leading up to the holiday because they are busier with crankier
customers. When I worked at a shoe store the busiest day of the year was
the day before Easter. Nobody guesses that one.

This 4th of July I plan to go back home to attend my hometown 125th
anniversary of its founding. My hometown has a well known 4th of July
celebration every year. The past couple years my mother has been on the
4th of July committee. In any committee she's in she is always the
treasurer. I think last year she was complaining too much money was
being donated that they didn't know what to do with it. I told they will
think of something. Anyway, drive safely this holiday weekend. Post
