Hello again. I am a new volunteer at a local museum. I just got the call telling me about the orientation for new volunteers. I'm so excited. I might even take classes before the season starts. They like you to be ready to handle the public questions and demonstrations before the season begins. I'm sure like my car rental and retail jobs, wise asses who love to interupt when you are speaking and try to stump you in their pop quizzes claiming your suppose to know everything are inevitable at this job too. My Dad is one of them.
Out of nowhere my Dad will ask a history question he already knows the answer to just to see if I know the answer. He has everything about Word War I and World War II memorized, along with gangster and outlaw facts. I really don't care if Butch Cassidy and the Sundace Kid were truly killed in Bolivia or not. Nor do I care to know the real name of famous The Red Baron. I graduated college over 5 years ago, OK? A lot of historical facts have evapoarted from my brain by now. If I'm ever curious, I can look this up in a dictionary or encyclopedia. Post Later. Bye!
